There a number of solutions now – many incorporating 800 #’s and a following me type system e.g. transferring inbound calls to your cell/office or wherever you point them, voice to email and fax.

Best of all these have really come down in price … I use http://www.segwaycommunications.com/

For simple fax http://efax.com

You mentioned large files though .. you may want to look at something like http://www.transferbigfiles.com/ or http://yousendit.com

Hi,
What e-fax system do you use? I am having trouble sending efaxes with my efax company because the files are too large. I use fax away.com. This system is working great with in coming faxes… just ready to get rid of my land line for sending faxes too:)

How true your video is on the ever changing industry of Real Estate! My question though is since Brian Copeland likes using a MAC laptop, which is my preference as well,… does he run into issues with compatibility of MLS services or other on-line applications on the web by using a MAC? I have run into issues with our local MLS provider not supporting anything but Windows.

I really enjoyed Michael’s interview on going mobile. Right now, there are so many stories about how to use “New Media” that it can get to be very confusing on which technologies work best for the Real Estate Professional.

For example, should the agent Twitter, Face book, build a web site, etc? It is really about building a community of loyal clients, contacts, advisors, and friends who are interested in keeping up on real estate issues by keeping in contact with their real estate advisor.

I am a Professor of Real Estate and Computer Science at Sacramento City College. One of the courses I teach is titled “Computer Applications in Real Estate”. I am in the process of developing a web site to support my classes. Shown below is a link to some information about this course:
