Yes There Really Is Tough Love In Real Estate!
By Michael on Oct 19, 2009 in Videos
Episode # 54: Top Florida Realtor Greg Gorman of ParadiseTeam.com talks about what it means to get back to the basics.
Recently I was invited to speak at the first ever Real Estate Tribal Group event in Dallas Texas.
To say it was a humbling experience for me would be a gross understatement because I was surrounded by some of the top agents in the country and here’s the thing … ALL egos were checked at the door.
There was a complete openness to share strategies, failures and successes.
Greg Gorman of John R. Wood Realtors was one of these agents that I interviewed who didn’t pull any punches when it came to offering advice … and there was nothing sugar coated about it.
With his sales record and years in the business you may want to take heart and pay attention … even if this is tough love.
I hope you enjoy the interview and please be sure to leave your comments below.
All Good Wishes,

Great points Greg! Agents are so afraid of good old hard work sometimes it amazes me. They want 5, 6 or $7000 for working 4 or 5 hours. This is where the disconnect is with the consumer and the agents value proposition. Hopefully more agents will hear your message and get back to work!

Amen to that Terry … these are the same agents that won’t invest in education, personal development or staying current yet flock like
seaguls and wonder why their businesses are failing.
